Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, an American screen and stage actress best known for her film roles in Ray Undercover Brother and on the tv show The Mentalist. She graduated with a BA in Brown University in African-American Studies. In the Tisch school of the arts, New York University she received an MFA. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis, a producer as well as an American actor active in the theatre in film, television, and theatre. She began her acting career as a theater actress and then appeared in a number of TV shows and independent as well as mainstream movies. She gained fame for playing Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico. Then, she made an appearance on BET's epic show The Book of Negroes. Her debut on stage as Ariel as Ariel on the stage in The Tempest. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway show of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow as well as Seeking the Genesis.
