Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food provides a way to enter her mind. Food is what stirs curiosity. It was born after she stepped outside of into the Long Island suburbs and entered the rich cultural environment that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas and various other cuisines can be found in a single menu. The menu is constantly shifting taste. What remains, however, with her food is an unifying vision of the future, while also reminiscing about the previous. Inspired by her Italian-American heritage Lofaso launched Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 that was immediately a hit. Lofaso has received praise for her interpretation of traditional Italian dishes. Lofaso is consistently highly acclaimed by patrons of Scopa's because the food is real and utterly pleasing. Lofaso apprenticed under culinary legends and absorbed their sophisticated techniques but she never hesitated to take extraordinary risks to honor her instincts. In a short time, Lofaso rose to the highest level of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Then she collaborated alongside many celebrities, as she transformed various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar Black Market Liquor Bar, an upscale bar located situated in Studio City. Lofaso's home was found in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business partnerships. Her creative independence could be enhanced through this collaboration. Black Market has no one idea in its head and is the same way. The course will begin with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers and continue with Korean Wings. Antonia's vibrant flavors are the foundation of these bold combinations. Throughout her career Lofaso has judged her accomplishment by her innate ability to understand her audience while staying authentic to her personality. The Top Chef Chicago episode and Top Chef: All Stars emphasized her ability to express herself outside the cooking environment. Since then she's maintained her professional career before cameras, including judge on CNBC's Restaurant Startup Judge as well as regular appearances on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child. Lofaso has teamed up together with Penguin Publishing to create The Busy Mom's Cookbook - 100 Recipes of easy, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In the book, she discusses her experience as a mother, and also a student in the French Culinary Institute. Lofaso believes that the motivation that drives her success is rooted in the kitchen, and it's through this vein that she continues to have to keep her finger on the pulse. With her Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of the industry, by creating chefwear for both style and functionality. Her main focus is to stay in line with her mission. In this regard she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. This gives customers an incredibly personal experience.
