Jana Kramer, an actor and singer-songwriter who specializes in country-pop music as well as songwriting rose to prominence in the world of television when she was Alex in the third and final seasons of One Tree Hill. Her first few releases as a singer-songwriter included in episodes of the series helping her debut album, titled "Eponymous," to make it into the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album released in 2015, made it to the Top Ten. When she finished the decade the year, she appeared on Dancing with the Stars. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised in the country genre. After appearing as a guest in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed the role of Noelle Davenport on NBC Friday Night Lights in the show's 2nd season 2007-2008. Kramer went to appear in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 2008-2009 and Brooke Manning on Entourage 2009 before joining the cast of the The CW's One Tree Hill as Alex Dupre in the year 2009, where she continued to appear until the series' final season in 2012. Jana Kramer Kramer, during her tenure on One Tree Hill signed with Elektra Records. She debuted contemporary country song I Won't give up in a one of the 2011 One Tree Hill episode. This track appeared later on the debut full-length album of Jana Kramer in mid 2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked it among the Top Five. She continued acting in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer released her second album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. Alongside her Top Five country hit I Got the Boy and a duet featuring Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of three on the country album chart as well as number ten on the Billboard 200. After a two-month stint in the 22nd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was 4th. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit by singing the track Feels Like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
